What do we collect and use personal information for?

Log files/IP addresses
When you visit our Site, we automatically log your IP address (the unique address which identifies your computer on the internet) which is automatically recognised by our web server. We use IP addresses to help us administer the site and to collect broad demographic information for aggregate use. Your IP address is also logged when you make a purchase as a fraud prevention measure required by the payment gateway.

You cannot be identified from this information and it is only used to assist us in providing an effective service on our site. Staff from abeautifulworld, or from our service providers, may contact you from time to time using the contact means you have supplied to us in order to get your views and comments on the service we provide to you.
Information about products and services.
It is very important to us that we provide you with the highest level of service. In order to help us do this, from time to time we may contact you using one of the contact methods you have provided, with details of our newsletters, surveys, products, offers and services which we think may be of interest to you. If at any time you do not wish to receive these details, then send an e-mail message titled “unsubscribe” to firstname.lastname@example.org. Please note that active customers will continue to receive order and account communications from us.

We aim to keep our information about you as accurate as possible. If you would like to review or change the details you have supplied us with, or you would like to remove your published Submission from the site you may do so at any time by using the Contact Us page on this site.

Shipping & Returns
We ship to most of Europe but do not collect taxes for you, this means you may have additional charges and taxes to pay for customs prior to goods arriving with you (some Country exclusions are applicable, please email firstname.lastname@example.org for more info). Standard Shipping is via Royal Mail Tracked 48. Please email email@example.com if you would like a next day or Saturday delivery. We ship out Monday to Friday only. Please note; we do not dispatch at weekends.

- Optional Courier Dispatch. Not dispatched the same day, dispatched the following working day providing order placed my midday.
- Europe Tracked - 14.95 Usually 1 to 4 weeks dependent on customs clearance. (or free with 200 Beautiful Reward Points) Taxes not paid. (we cannot currently dispatch to Ireland, sorry)
- North America - £15.00 on orders over £50 Usually 1 to 4 weeks dependent on custom clearance

You will have the opportunity to select your preferred delivery method as you proceed through checkout, and will be able to check the total order value (including postage & packaging costs) before you complete the transaction.
We dispatch promptly. However, we cannot control the postal or delivery service timelines. Unfortunately in the time of Covid and during industrial action, there may be some delay beyond our control. A package cannot be claimed as missing or lost until 30 days after we have dispatched. Some European countries are clearing customs rather slowly, and again, we have no control over this. We ask for your patience during these times. Thank you.
Customs, Duties & Taxes For Overseas Orders
A Beautiful World ships your package DUP within the EU (duties and taxes unpaid) for all orders. This is governed by EU laws, and cannot predict what your particular charges may be.
When ordering from abeautifulworld.co.uk , you're responsible for assuring the product can be lawfully imported to the destination.
The recipient is the importer of record and must comply with all laws and regulations of the destination. Orders shipped outside of the United Kingdom and EU may be subject to import taxes, customs duties and fees levied by the destination country. The recipient of an international shipment may be subject to such import taxes, customs duties and fees, which are levied once a shipment reaches the recipient's country. Additional charges for customs clearance must be fulfilled by the recipient; A Beautiful World has no control over these charges, unfortunately nor can A Beautiful World predict what they may be.
BREXIT has changed a good many rules into the EU, and now customers pay the taxes as they arrive into your Country. This I am afraid is beyond our control and is a legal requirement.
These customs policies vary widely; you should contact your local customs office for more information. When customs clearance procedures are required, it can cause delays beyond our original delivery estimates. Please note local customs charges may be required for payment by the customer on orders outside the UK. abeautifulworld.co.uk do not take responsibility for local customs charges.
If for any reason you’re dissatisfied with your purchase, we will gladly offer a refund on all products returned to us within fourteen days of your receipt, provided they are returned in their original packaging, in an unopened and unused condition. We may request photos of the product prior to sending it back to us. This way we all have a record of what is being returned. If the product has been removed from the packaging, we will determine this as "opened". Please understand, no one wants to buy a skin care item that someone else has already opened. Personal hygiene and our customers protection is paramount to us. So we will only refund on products that are truly as new and untampered with.
Please be aware that due to EU hygiene regulations we cannot offer a refund, replacement or exchange on items returned in non-saleable condition.

- Please complete the RMA form, and return with the products to the address below. Please ensure that you get proof of postage.
We will refund your product as quickly as possible by sending the money back to your original payment method. If your card has expired in the mean time you need to email us at firstname.lastname@example.org to arrange.
International Return Policy
All customers must provide us with the item’s picture they want to return to confirm the sellable condition of the products. Only after that customer service will be able to send to the customer return authorisation number.Please note that any overseas return, may be subject to taxes etc, and we cannot refund these as these are not our charges that we can refund.
