Secrets from the East - Rice Water Toner

Rice has been used for thousands of years as part of Asian beauty ritual. The rice is high in Vitamin B that helps slow down the ageing process, stimulates blood flow and promotes cell growth.

What you'll need

  • 1/2 cup of rice 
  • 1 cups of water
  • 1/2 cup of coconut water (optional)

Gently rince your rice in a sieve under the tap, just to give it a quick clean. Put the rice into a bowel. Cover with water and coconut water. Leave for 15 mins. The water should have turned cloudy - this is your rice toner. Strain, and keep in a sealed jar - it will last about 3 days. Use it as you would a normal toner, skin should feel tighter, brighter and generally more glowey!
