Meet Josh Rosebrook

Josh opened his first salon in Portland, Oregon when he was 10 years old. He found an antique barber’s chair in the basement and soon he was styling, coloring and just generally fixing the hair of all the kids in the neighborhood. Josh recalls, “even at that age, I couldn’t understand why everyone had a hard time with their hair. It just came naturally to me...I instinctively knew how to cut or color their hair to give them whatever look they wanted.”

His interest in skin care came a few years later, and by the time he was a teenager he was comparing results and reading labels. “I began using different products and researching the ingredients and the effects on my skin. And I began to make the connection between diet, physical appearance and overall health,” he says.

By his 20s Josh had moved to Los Angeles and was working in high-end salons, doing what he loved.

As his career flourished, he began experimenting with creating his own skin care, mainly because he couldn’t find anything else which used the ingredients he wanted. That’s how his first product, the Cacao Antioxidant Mask, came into being. Josh says he had no intention of selling it, but that changed when his friends noticed the improvements in his skin, and learned that the cause was all-natural and entirely pure. With that, Josh Rosebrook Skin and Hair Care was born.

“It just snowballed from there. It felt so good to give people a product that was totally pure and delivered fantastic results. I felt a sort of calling.”

Josh Rosebrook Skin and Hair Care is an award winning family of 10 products, all crafted in careful, small batches with only the highest quality, all-natural and organic ingredients. Our intention is to create products that are effective and pure, with a maximum of botanical extracts and active ingredients, and absolutely nothing artificial, synthetic or genetically modified.
