Fabulous dress chosen (tick). Heels and clutch sorted (tick). NYE plans ready to go (tick, tick, tick). Now read our countdown to make sure your skin is in tip top condition come party night (and also a few tips on how to help it recover post party).
2. The night before. If you're planning on an up-do, wash your hair the night before, as it will be easier to work with the next day. Use a treatment such as Yarok Feed Your Youth BEFORE you shampoo. This will take away fly aways, and leave hair super shiny. Do a quick at home facial; an exfoliating peel like Josh Rosebrook Active Enzyme Exfoliator followed by a deep hydrating night cream, our go-to pre party treatment is Dahliana Overnight Fruit Lift. You'll wake up with glossy hair and super glowing skin.
3 12 hours before. Be prepared. Start the day with the juice of one organic lemon squeezed into a pint of water. This will alkalise your body and help detox your liver, useful if you're planning on a glass (read lots) of champers later. Make sure you eat an anti-oxidant rich diet during the day, with lots of green leafy veg.
4. 1 hour before. Have a quick shower (baths can be dehydrating). Then cover yourself from top to toe in MuLondon Organic White Truffle Moisturiser. It smells just amazing while deeply hydrating the skin with sesame and macadamia nut oil. Pump up your hair with Yarok Feed Your Roots Mousse and fix with Yarok Feed Your Hold. Add LBD and heels and you're good to go!
5. The morning after the night before. Good night? Perhaps a bit too much of a good night? No fear.....time for some TLC. Grab your Collagen Paper Face Mask from the fridge, run a warm bath, and add Marble&Milkweed Body Oil. This will hydrate your skin and soothe your head. Layer on SW Basics Cream all over your body. For face apply Indie Lee Co-Q10 Toner to refresh, and then Dahliana Cell Renewal Creme in a thick layer. Both are rich in natural collagen boosting Co-Enzyme Q10 and will nourish and revive tired skin. Wrap yourself in your fluffiest dressing gown, make a green detox juice, and watch some re-runs on TV. Within a few hours you'll be back to your fabulous self.
Happy party season all - see you on the dance floor!
