Spring time, detox time. Follow our easy steps to spring clean your body, and leave you feeling all fresh and perky.

Saturday

Detox the body and get rid of toxins. Even after 48 hours your skin should look more radiant, and you'll have a bit of spring in your step.

Breakfast

Mission clear skin starts with a Kale, Pineapple and Ginger Detox Juice. Juice the below, drink and feel virtuous.

- 1/2 pineapple
- 2 cucumbers
- 1 bunch of kate
- 1/2 lemon
- 1/4 inch of ginger
- 1 bunch of mint

Lunch

Alkalising your body is a great way to keep your body in balance and keep skin looking bright and young. The most nourishing alkalising foods are green foods such as leafy greens, green vegetables, citrus fruits, raw nuts and seeds and cold pressed salads. Try to also drink a pint of water with a juice of two lemons with every meal (strange but although lemons taste acidic they're really great to alkalise your body). Here's a fabulous salad to get you all back into balance again;

- Nice big plate of mixed leafy greens (cos, butter lettuce, iceberg, rocket, spinach etc)
- 1/2 an avocado
- sprinkle of pumpkin seeds
- sprinkle of sunflower seeds
- handful of raw or roasted walnuts
- sprinkle of goji berries or pomegranate jewels
- 1 teaspoon  ground flax seed (linseed)

Dinner

Salmon is high in Omega-3 fatty acids, so great for your heart and your skin, be sure to buy farm raised organic salmon. Try Coconut Salmon for dinner with 'Peaks'. Warm coconut oil in a pan, and fast fry the salmon until cooked. Serve with peas and leeks or as we like to call them 'Peaks'.

Sunday

Not the day of rest today....start the day with a 5 mile walk or yoga or a cycle...something to get you out and moving. And yes shopping does count, as long as you walk there and back.

Breakfast

Dairy products contain Vitamin A and protein, vital ingredients for healthy skin cells, but full-fat milks and cheeses are also high in artery-clogging saturated fat. Get the good without the bad by choosing low-fat or fat-free options; plain yogurt is also a great choice because it contains live active cultures that can help regulate digestive health. Try a plain yogurt, with fresh pomegranate topped with organic granola. Yummy!

Lunch

It's Sunday, so of course it's time for a roast. Make a few small changes to your normal chicken dinner to keep it spring fresh;

- Heat oven to 200 degrees
- Stuff the chicken with garlic and lemons, drizzle the skin in cold pressed organic olive oil, and lightly season with salt and pepper
- Roast chicken for approx 1.5 hours
- Boil brown rice and steam kale
- Serve with a squeeze of lemon and a sprinkling of lemon zest

Dinner

Just a light salad for dinner. We love beetroot and avocado. Beetroot is a fantastic source of iron and vitamins;

- 3 large cooked beetroots
- 1 small red onion
- Cold press olive oil
- 2 avocados
- handful of coriander and mint leaves
- pea shoots or lambs lettuce
- broad or soya beans
