Winter is coming, so it's time to step up your beauty routine. As the temperature falls, the air gets drier and skin can get a little dehydrated and needs a little extra bit of TLC. It's time to layer up and hyper-hydrate.

Here's five top tips to keep skin looking all glowey as it get a bit chilly outside;

1. Nourish and Hydrate

- To help stop skin drying out use an oil based cleanser to help prevent skin from drying out. Also look for products with extra hydrating ingredients like hylaronic acid. We love YTTP Serum which locks in moisture.

2. Exfoliate and protect

Winter can leave skin a little dull. So here's a top tip to get it all glowey, plump and protected. But it's all in the timing. Cleanse skin, the apply a gentle exfoliating treatment such as The Body Deli Radiance Enzyme Superfood Peel, then very quickly apply a high intensity serum like Indie Lee Swiss Apple Serum. This combination of rich proteins, phytonutrients, and metabolites on 'virgin skin' will boost cell production and protect your skin from environmental stress. But remember be speedy.

3. Get soothed

Skin can really flare up in winter, and so it's good to look for products that are super soothing, with lovely anti-inflammatory ingredients such as rosehip oil. We love Indie Lee Rosehip Cleanser, or Dahliana Wildflower Serum.

4. Get your vitamins

Vitamins are fabulous as we get into winter, they do so many brilliant things to your skin. So load up on the inside and the outside. Grab some oranges, chop them up and pop them into 2 litres of water. Sip this throughout the day. Go for vitamin infused skincare too such as Dahliana Seabuckthorn Berry Creme which is rich in Vitamin C. Then keep topped up with Josh Rosebrook Hydrating Accelerator.

5. Lip Sync

Don't forget to perfect your pout. Lips can get all dry and crackly in the winter. Try a home made sugar scrub (check out Indie Lee's one here), the layer on the lip balm. We love SW Basics Lip Balms which are so hydrating without that sticky feeling. Then come Christmas they'll just need a touch of glitter then they're good to go!
